Burn the Roots, Not Just the Branches
Racism, fascism, and Nazism are not isolated ideologies, they are rotting limbs of the same dying tree: authoritarian civilization.
Green anarchists reject the sanitized liberal frameworks that treat these forms of oppression as unfortunate “bugs” in the system. They are features, baked into the logic of empire, colonization, industrialism, and hierarchy.
To be a green anarchist is to be an enemy of all systems of domination: not just capitalism and the state, but whiteness as a social construct, fascism as an ideological virus, and Nazism as the purest expression of techno-industrial death worship. We don’t fight Nazis to protect “democracy.” We fight them because their existence is incompatible with life.
Fascism is Civilized, So Civilization Must Die
Fascism is not a rupture from modernity, it is modernity in crisis mode. It is the state turning to overt violence to preserve its power when its myths begin to collapse. When capitalism loses legitimacy, fascism steps in with a flag, a uniform, and a scapegoat.
Green anarchists reject not just fascism but the entire civilizational framework that breeds it: borders, nationalism, race, patriarchy, property, prisons, and the mechanized death machine of industrial production. Nazism didn’t arise from a vacuum, it rose from the Enlightenment’s obsession with order, hierarchy, and control. It used science to sterilize, militarism to expand, and myth to dehumanize.
There is no “green fascism.” The Earth does not want authoritarian caretakers. A true ecological resistance must be antifascist or it is nothing.
Anti-Racism is Earth Defense
White supremacy is a system of ecological destruction. It justifies the theft of Indigenous land, the murder of Black bodies, the desecration of sacred places. It is no accident that the modern environmental crisis began with European colonization and the plantation economy.
Green anarchism insists that the fight for the Earth is the fight against empire. There can be no “return to nature” while Indigenous people are still dispossessed. There is no sustainable future built on stolen land. Anti-racism is not a moral add-on, it is a material necessity for any liberatory ecological struggle.
We stand not for “inclusion” in existing systems but for the total abolition of white supremacy, settler colonialism, and the racial capitalist state.
Against Eco-Fascism, Against the Greenwashed State
The state is not a partner in ecological healing it is the central engine of environmental collapse. And yet, in a world unraveling, the state will co-opt “green” language to preserve itself. This is where eco-fascism emerges: population control, border ecologies, “green” militarism, fortress conservation.
Eco-fascism blames the poor, the Global South, and immigrants for climate collapse while letting billionaires and corporations dig mass graves in the biosphere. It offers a vision of a “clean” world through genocide, exclusion, and control.
We reject all eco-authoritarian visions, whether they wear a swastika, a suit, or a green NGO badge. Our ecology is feral, collective, ungovernable. What We Fight ForWe are not interested in reform. We are not interested in making fascism taboo while capitalism continues its slow-motion holocaust. We want abolition: of whiteness, of the state, of the police, of prisons, of borders, of patriarchal and colonial domination.
We want wildness, mutual aid, collective autonomy. We want the rivers to run free and the cops to be afraid again. We want land back, not “diversity training.” We want decolonized forests, not electrified fences. We want food forests, not Amazon warehouses.
We fight Nazis because we love the Earth.
We fight fascists because we believe in a world without cages. We fight white supremacy not to be “allies,” but because it is our enemy.
Conclusion: From the Ruins, Seeds Will GrowThe future is not built with the tools of the oppressor. It is composted from the rubble of empire. Our resistance must be rooted in solidarity, not saviorism. In rage, but also in care. Our politics are not abstract, they are inscribed in our daily lives, our relationships, our occupations, and our barricades.
Green anarchism is anti-racist, anti-Nazi, anti-fascist, or it is dead on arrival.
Let the forests grow back through the concrete. Let the jails rot. Let the borders fall.
